Does my Creative Medical ID jewelry have a guarantee? Yes! Our products come with a 90-day guarantee from the date we ship on your original order. We guarantee against defects in workmanship under normal use. We do not guarantee jewelry when worn in water or during sports. We do not cover loss or wear & tear.
Can I wear my beaded bracelet or watchlet while bathing or swimming? Creative Medical ID uses the finest 49 strand, nylon coated, stainless steel flexible jewelers wire. When this wire is repeatedly exposed to water it eventually will break, therefore we cannot guarantee or recommend wearing your bracelet in water. Treat your Creative Medical ID beaded bracelet with care. You may wear our all stainless bracelets in water!
I have a Nickel allergy. Can I wear your medical jewelry? Our beaded products are manufactured with .925 sterling silver crimps, clasps, fluted & round beads. Please note that the Bali silver beads used in our designs do contain a very small percentage of pewter which may cause a reaction if you are very sensitive to Nickel.
Our stainless, sterling silver and gold-filled jewelry is not hypo-allergenic.
Please be careful when making your selection, as we do not give refunds or exchanges on custom-made medical jewelry due to Nickel allergies.
How do I know what size to select? Measure carefully before you order! Wrap a soft tape measure around the wrist where it bends, then add one inch to get the correct size.
WHY ADD 1 INCH? The extra room is needed to allow for a rigid tag,
the two lobster clasps and beads. When the wrist is measured acurately
this formula will give a comfortable fit.
What should I engrave on my Medical ID Tag? See our Engraving Help Link on the Menu. Select the most important, life-threating medical information, in case you cannot speak for yourself. Putting your medical condition is important. Many choose to have their full name, the diagnosis and an "ICE" (In case of emergency)telephone number, rather than the medication taken, as that may change.
What is your policy on Gold-Filled Medical ID Bracelets? All our 10K gold-filled Medical ID Bracelets with gold-plated chains are non-refundable. Please make your selection carefully.
What if my tag/charm has an engraving error? Please let us know immediately, and we will send out a replacement tag/charm if we have made an error. Creative Medical ID is not responsible for orders submitted incorrectly.
How long will it take for me to receive my Creative Medical ID jewelry? Please allow 2-3 weeks to receive your custom-engraved Medical ID jewelry (business days please). For bracelet orders without tags, we will ship within 3 business days. During the holidays allow additional time.
What if my bracelet or watchlet doesn't fit? Creative Medical ID has a nominal re-sizing fees. Please click on the Resizing lnk on the menu for detailed information.

What if my bracelet or watchlet breaks? If your Creative Medical ID jewelry breaks within 90 days of the date we ship, you are covered at no charge one time under our guarantee. Please see Repair page for charges after the 90 day guarantee is up..
Will my sterling silver or gold-filled Medical tag tarnish? YES, all sterling silver & gold-filled jewelry tarnishes when exposed water, acidic skin or air. An ultrasonice cleaner or a non-abrasive polishing cloth (such as Sunshine) will remove tarnish. (Do not put beaded strands in ultrasonic cleaner.)
What is Gold Filled jewelry? Gold-filled describes when a layer of gold is mechanically bonded with heat and pressure to one or more surfaces of the supporting base metal,such as brass, then rolled or drawn to a given thickness. In the jewelry industry the quantity of gold must be at least 1/20th by weight of the total product. Gold Filled items will remain gold for a lifetime if cared for properly. Unless you are using harsh chemicals abrasives, lotions or perfumes, the gold layer will stay gold for years to come!
How do I care for my sterling silver or gold-filled ID Tag? When storing jewelry, do not mix gold with silver, spearate the metals by compartments. Sterling silver and gold-filled are soft precious metals and vulnerable to scratching, so be careful. Consider purchasing a stainless steel Medical ID tag for everyday wear.
Is it possible to get a full refund on my custom made bracelet or watchlet? We want you to be happy with your purchase, and will work with you to resolve any problems we have made. All sales on custom-engraved and beaded jewelry items are final.

Can you engrave DNR on my bracelet? NO DNR/DNI bracelets!!
We cannot engrave DNR/DNI on your medical bracelet. Each state has specific regulations about DNR bracelets. Please check with your doctor's office as you will need a letter from your doctor and you must purchase the DNR bracelet from the designated commercial vendor in your specific state.

The name, address, date of birth and gender of the patient; and the name, business telephone number and signature of the attending physician issuing the order.
